Around 1988 I first got a glimpse of what computers were capable of doing
when you used them for drawing and colouring images. It was of course the Commodore Amiga
I had seen. One of my friends, Henrik, had such a computer and it really impressed
me. Until then I had only seen the C64's complete lack of quality graphics, but after
one look at Deluxe Paint 2 I knew what to aim for.
Within a short period of time I had saved up enough money to buy an Amiga of my own, and
I could start experimenting. Compared to today's computers the options were limited, but at that time it was a
breakthrough.
