I finished at HaKa and was awarded the Queen Ingrid Travel Scholarship. A great
honour, and I hadn't even applied for the scholarship. I used it to travel
around Europe and visit quite a lot of capitals and museums.
Once I returned, I tried to get in contact with the animation world of Denmark. We
really haven't got that many studios, but I was fortunate enough to be able to meet a representative of
A Film, the internationally best known studio. I was by far not good enough to be able
to apply for a job, but I was now able to mail him my drawings, and he would then look at
them and point out to me how I could improve them.
